<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a controller for an AC rotating machine by which a stable current control operation is obtained irrespective of a steady operation, sudden acceleration/deceleration operation of the AC rotating machine, a power conversion circuit is protected from excess current, and highly efficient and stable driving performance is obtained in the steady operation of the AC rotating machine. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the AC rotating machine includes a frequency correction means 8 having: a first operation part which calculates a first frequency correction amount by integrating deviation between current on rotating two-axis coordinates and a preset current limit value; a second operation part which calculates a second frequency correction amount based on the current on the rotating two-axis coordinates and a frequency instruction; and a frequency correction amount selection part which selects the first frequency correction amount or the second frequency correction amount as a frequency correction amount based on magnitude relation between the current on the rotating two-axis coordinates and the current limit value, and magnitude relation between the frequency instruction and a primary frequency correction value, thereby correcting the frequency instruction based on the frequency correction amount to obtain the primary frequency correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
