<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow editing merchandise sales data registration of which is confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: Merchandise selection of one from the merchandise whose sales data is stored in a deal storage unit is accepted. The sales data of the selected merchandise is read from the deal storage unit. An edit screen of the sales data read from the deal storage unit is displayed on a display, and an edit of the sales data is accepted.
