<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor processing device which does not raise internal pressure of a fuel tank wastefully nor exert a bad influence on a fuel supply to an internal combustion engine after the recovery of fuel vapor adsorbed to a canister is completed. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel vapor processing device includes: a fuel tank 1; a canister 2 for adsorbing the evaporated fuel; and an aspirator 4 for introducing part of fuel F discharged from a fuel pump 3 to generate negative pressure, wherein the fuel vapor adsorbed to the interior of the canister 2 is recovered into the fuel tank 1 by utilizing the negative pressure of the aspirator 4. The device has further a negative pressure sensor 7 for detecting pressure inside the canister 2 and determines the recovery completion of the fuel vapor based on detection information of the negative pressure sensor 7. When the recovery completion of the evaporated fuel is determined, fuel introduction into the aspirator 4 is stopped. The recovery completion can be determined by the stability of the negative pressure, time period required for start of stabilization of the negative pressure, or a fact that the negative pressure reaches reference pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
