<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-stage transmission capable of reducing in size and weight and reducing an inertial load on outputting high-speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission includes: an input shaft 13 connected to an rotation output shaft 5a of a motor 5; an output shaft 14; and a planetary gear mechanism 20 including a sun gear 21 fixed to the input shaft 13, an annular gear 22 disposed to enclose the sun gear 21, a planetary gear 23 engaging with both of the sun gear 21 and the annular gear 22, and a carrier 24 rotatably supporting the planetary gear 23 so as to reduce and output the rotation output imparted to the input shaft 13 from the motor 5. The transmission is also provided with a clutch mechanism 30, which renders the annular gear 22 of the planetary gear mechanism 20 into a fixed state, selects one of the carrier 24 and the input shaft 13 rotating with respect to the annular gear 22, and connects the selected component to the output shaft 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
