<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance in a heat sink where a heat dissipation unit is thermally connected onto a base plate. <P>SOLUTION: The heat dissipation unit is set to be a laminated type in which a first fin layer F1 and a second fin layer F2, where plate-like metal portions and opening hole portions are alternately and periodically formed in a plane vertical to the base plate with a direction parallel to the base plate as a period direction, are arranged in parallel. An entire heat sink is constituted so that a cooling fluid flowing into from an entrance portion is led to the opening hole portion of the first fin layer and at least a part of it moves between the first and second fin layers along them and is led to an exit portion from the opening hole portion of the second fin layer. Since thickness of the heat dissipation unit itself is thinned, the plurality of heat dissipation units can exist in prescribed width on the base plate, cooling efficiency can be improved and pressure loss can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
