<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the S/N ratio of a sensor output and reduce a detection error by eliminating a noise-related influence of a magnetizing signal on a search coil. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary encoder 1 is provided with: a stator core; a rotor core so disposed as to turn while facing the stator core with a gap in-between; a magnetizing coil disposed on the rotor core and folded in a zigzag manner at a prescribed pitch; a search coil 23 disposed on the stator core so arranged as to face the magnetizing coil at a distance and folded in a zigzag manner at a prescribed pitch; magnetizing signal output circuits 31, 32 and 33 for outputting magnetizing signals to be supplied to the magnetizing coil; and an injection circuit 35 for injecting, and synthesize, a signal in the same phase as, or the reverse phase to, the magnetizing signal into a search signal output from the search coil 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
