<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a whole device by shortening horizontally-moving distance of a cartridge holder. <P>SOLUTION: A disc drive device comprises a cartridge holder to which a disc cartridge is attached, a frame member, a first slider, and a holder moving part. The frame member holds the cartridge holder in a movable manner and supports the first slider in a slidable manner. The holder moving part moves the cartridge holder in first and second directions to take in and out the disc cartridge, through operation of the first slider. The disc drive device has a first cam part provided at the first slider, a second cam part provided at the slider, and a cam gear supported rotatably by a gear bracket. The holder moving part has a first cam pin provided at the cam gear and engaged with the first cam part in a slidable manner, and a second cam pin provided at the cartridge holder and engaged with the second cam part in a slidable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
