Biodegradable insect repellent bracelet comprises a biodegradable matrix formed by biodegradable polymer granules prefilled in insect repellent lipophilic liquid composition. An independent claim is included for a preparation of the biodegradable bracelet comprising: (a) filling the biodegradable polymer granules with lipophilic liquid repellent composition; (b) optionally preparing the granule as composite by mixing (i) 5-50% of poly polyester (butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) and 50-95% of PBAT associated with the starch filled in insect repellent lipophilic liquid composition, (ii) 50-95% of PBAT associated with the starch filled in liquid composition, and (iii) 50-95% of polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) associated with the polylactic acid (PLA) filled with liquid composition; (c) subjecting the granules or composite granules for forming operation by extrusion or injection molding; and (d) cooling and conditioning immediately in tightly sealed package.
