摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purchase promotion device and a purchase promotion method which provide information related to merchandise needed by customers when needed and increase the frequency of shop visits or merchandise purchase by customers. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part 11 of a purchase promotion device 10 stores information on dates of visit of each customer. The storage part 11 also stores information on one or more kinds of purchased merchandise and information on a date of purchase of the purchased merchandise out of dates of visit associating them with each other. A comparison part 16 compares an expected date of visit and an expected date of purchase.
