PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a serial signal responding to clock signals of multiple frequencies to such transmission equipments of a camera system as CHU and CCU.

SOLUTION: Sending and receiving parts 23 and 24 of transmission equipments 2 and 3 exchange a serial signal including a clock signal of a frequency selected from multiple frequencies. A clock reproduction part 41 reproduces a reproduction clock signal from the received serial signal. A match judgement part 45 judges the match between the frequency of the reproduced reproduction clock signal and the multiple frequencies. A frequency control part 45 determines the frequency of the reproduction clock signal when they match. The frequency of the reproduction clock signal reproduced by the clock reproduction part 41 keeps changing until it is determined.
