<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of inhibiting the deterioration of a pump performance with an impeller of both of a flow path opening type and a flow path closing type, and suppressing the inflow of a foreign substance such as hair or the like into a pump chamber, and to provide a liquid circulation device provided with the pump. <P>SOLUTION: The pump 1 has: the pump chamber 10 provided with the impeller 12 for making the liquid flow; and an introduction path 4a for introducing the liquid from the outside to the impeller 12 of the pump chamber 10; wherein a foreign substance prevention portion 21, configured to prevent a foreign substance that has been mixed into the liquid from entering the pump chamber 10, is provided on the upstream side of the introduction path 4a, the foreign substance prevention portion 21 is a plurality of ribs 22 arranged in the direction intersecting the flow direction R of the liquid, and one or more ribs 22 in the plurality of the ribs 22, which is positioned in the center, are arranged to be projected to the upstream side of another ribs 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
