The refrigerant migration device (9) has a buffer container (10) with an inlet (11) and an outlet (12), a device for dissipation or interruption of refrigerant circulation (13), which is regulated over four channels. A channel is connected with the outlet at a recuperator (5). Another channel is provided for connection at the outlet to the buffer container. A third channel is provided for connection with the outlet at a condenser (4). A fourth channel is closed at a low pressure area of a cooling system circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for refrigerant migration in a vapor compression refrigeration system of small filling capacity.
