A paper containing mechanism (1) with two paper containing modes and a printing device having the same are disclosed. A frame (16) of the paper containing mechanism is provided with a first passage plate (12) and a second passage plate (13), a paper conveying passage formed between them, and paper containing rubber rollers (11) including a first rotating roller (111) at the same side as the first passage plate and a second rotating roller (112) at the same side as the second passage plate, wherein a paper containing opening (D) is arranged between the second passage plate and the second rotating roller, and the first passage plate is pivoted to the frame and at a fixed or rotatable state alternatively. The first passage plate is capable of being fixed or rotated relative to the frame of the paper containing mechanism, so that the paper containing mechanism has two paper containing positions for selection, and therefore the versatility of the paper containing mechanism is improved.
