PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance mixability of a toner supplied into a developing tank, with respect to two-component developer.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a flow plate 9 having an inclined surface that is inclined downward more than horizontally, from the end portion 9a disposed in a position facing a developing roller 3 toward the end portion 9b disposed closer to a conveying member 6 than the end portion 9a, and configured to move the two-component developer, carried on the developing roller 3 and passing through an opening 2a, from the end portion 9a toward the end portion 9b of the inclined surface with its gravity, to guide the developer to the conveying member 6; and a conveyance control roller 52 configured to switch the state of the two-component developer, moving on the inclined surface, between a dammed state and a non-dammed state. |
