PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire manufacturing method which can produce a pneumatic tire which is light in weight and excellent in air transmission preventing performance and uniformity.SOLUTION: Bead rings 25 are fitted externally to both ends in the width direction of a cylindrical body having a film made of a thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic elastomer composition and a carcass material arranged on the peripheral side of the film to mold a primary molding G1. The central part in the width direction of the primary molding G1 is expanded to the peripheral side and sucked/held to/on the inner circumference surface of a transfer holding mold 9 having a shape similar to the peripheral surface of a rigid inner mold 11.
