A method for implementing security of Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC) is disclosed by the present invention, wherein the method includes: After SRVCC handover, a caller performs encrypted media stream interaction with a callee through a Public Switched Telephone Network Media Gateway (PSTN MGW); and said PSTN MGW encrypts the media streams sent to the callee, and decrypts the encrypted media streams sent from the callee; wherein, the encryption key in said PSTN MGW comes from an enhanced Mobile Switch Center (eMSC). A system for implementing security of SRVCC is also disclosed by the present invention. The present invention can provide a key negotiation mechanism, which enables terminals to still perform secure sessions after the SRVCC handover.
