PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely eliminate the temperature drift of the detection signal outputted from a sensor on the signal level corresponding to the measuring value of a measuring target.SOLUTION: The resistance value, which is varied by the temperature of the signal wire 21 arranged along a transmission cable 19 to cause a temperature drift in the signal level of the detection signal from the sensor 11, is measured and the temperature data corresponding to the peripheral temperature over the total length of the transmission cable 19, that is, the data of temperature difference of the peripheral temperature to standard temperature is acquired from the resistance value-temperature characteristics of the signal wire 21. Then, the temperature drift ratio produced in the signal level of the detection signal detected by a receiver 13 is specified from the temperature-drift correlation table adapted to the length of the transmission cable 19 stored in the memory 15b of a temperature drift correction device 15, and correction for eliminating the temperature drift is made with respect to the signal level of the displacement output of the detection signal on the basis of the specified temperature drift ratio by the temperature drift correction device 15. |
