PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siloxane-based coating composition capable of directly being applied on a material to be coated, obtaining an excellent bondability, and not changing the character of the formed coated membrane, and to provide a method for coating the same.SOLUTION: The siloxane-based coating composition contains a silsesquioxane compound having at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of an acrylic group, a methacrylic group, an aryl group and a hydroxy group, and a siloxane-based coating material. The silsesquioxane compound having the substituent is contained by 0.5 to 3.0 wt.% range based on the siloxane-based coating material. By mixing the silsesquioxane compound having the substituent with the heat-curable siloxane-based coating material, the obtained siloxane-based coating material is applied on the material to be coated to form a coating membrane layer and the coated membrane layer is heat-treated to form the coated layer. |
