PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately remove radioactive crud deposited in a facility of a nuclear power plant with preventing generation etc. of secondary waste due to radioactive contamination.SOLUTION: The radioactive crud removal device 10, for removing radioactive crud α deposited in a facility of a nuclear power plant, includes a device body 11 which is disposed outside the facility, a drive device which drives the device body along the facility, a dose rate meter 13 which is installed to the device body and measures a dose rate of the radioactive crud α, a computing unit 14 which computes an amount of the radioactive crud from a dose rate value measured by the dose rate meter, and an electromagnet device 15 which is installed to the device body and contactlessly moves the radioactive crud by applying a magnetic force to the radioactive crud α from outside of the facility. The radioactive crud is floated in a decontamination liquid β by an electromagnet device during chemical decontamination of the facility, and the radioactive crud is transferred along with moving the device body by the drive device while attracting it by the electromagnet device after the chemical decontamination. |
