PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine that uses a high-response and low-loss magnetic element, suppresses increase in the voltage induced in a high-revolution range, reduces a weak field current, and hence improves output and torque in the high-revolution range.SOLUTION: The dynamo-electric machine has a rotor 1 and a stator 2. In the rotor 1, a plurality of permanent magnets are embedded circumferentially. In the stator 2, a plurality of stator teeth 4 around which a coil 3 for drive is wound are arranged circumferentially. A magnetic element 5 is inserted between the adjacent stator teeth 4, 4 to constitute a magnetic circuit. The magnetic element 5 is composed of a magnetic material 15a connecting between the stator teeth 4, 4 and a coil 15b wound around the magnetic material 15a. According to an increase in the speed of the rotor 1, a controller 6 (magnetic circuit controller) which increases the amount of magnetic flux passing through the magnetic element 5 is provided. |
