PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward-type switching power supply device which can operate by an output smoothing choke coil of a smaller size, and to provide a drive method of the forward-type switching power supply device.SOLUTION: The forward-type switching power supply device includes two transformers, a primary side of each of the two transformers is aligned in parallel with an input power supply, and a secondary side of each of the two transformers is aligned in parallel with an output load. Furthermore, the forward-type switching power supply device is of a single-end forward type, and each primary side of the two transformers has a switching element and a transformer-resetting diode. |
