PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable deodorizing device which can clean a discharge electrode with an inexpensive composition and can stably perform streamer discharge.SOLUTION: The deodorizing device includes a discharge part that applies a high voltage to the discharge electrode and a counter electrode to perform the streamer discharge, and a suction means that sucks surrounding air to the discharge part and exhausts the air. The deodorizing device also includes a flap that rotationally operates according to the operation of the suction means, and is configured so that a part of the flap makes contact with the tip of discharge electrode when the suction means stops. |
