The connector (1) has an inlet orifice (35) connected to a coolant circuit pipe, and an outlet orifice (36) connected to an outlet orifice of the coolant circuit. A pipe (21) is connected with the inlet orifice and the outlet orifice. A closure member (46) is movable between two positions, where at one position the closure member communicates a hydraulic connector (34) and the outlet orifice. The closure member is biased toward one position during introduction of a hydraulic end piece, where one of two closure members (45, 46) interrupts flow of cooling liquid through the pipe. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a coolant circuit, comprising a hydraulic pump (2) a method for filling a coolant circuit.
