A copolymer and method for providing it are provided, which includes a monomer unit represented by the following formula (1) and an olefin unit: wherein: each of A1, A2, A3, and A4 independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, a silyl group, a siloxy group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyloxy group, an aryloxy group, an amino group, an amide group, an imide group, or a hydrocarbon thio group; which group may have a substituent; and each of m, n, and k is independently an integer in a range of 2 to 20.
