<p>Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor in which escape of vaporized electrolyte from a safety valve can be prevented even when the pressure release mechanism of the electrolytic capacitor is released. An electrolyte absorbing agent (22) is arranged above a safety valve (14) formed at the bottom face of an outer casing (12) of an electrolytic capacitor. With respect to the electrolyte absorbing agent (22), a thin sheet (25) made of metal foil or the like is provided in a position corresponding to the safety valve (14), and vaporized electrolyte is dispersed along the thin sheet (25) at the periphery thereof when the safety valve (14) is opened, thereby efficiently increasing the absorption function of the electrolyte absorbing agent (22) and preventing escape of the vaporized electrolyte to outside the electrolytic capacitor.</p> |
