PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply evaluating the risks of periodontal disease.SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the risks of the periodontal disease is characterized by analyzing bacterial flora with a DNA extracted from dental plaque at human gingival margin top and/or bottom by using a T-RFLP method, and then by classifying dental plaque bacterial flora patterns by performing a cluster analysis based on the degree of resemblance, and by evaluating the risks of the periodontal disease by using the classified results as indices. |
