<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar cell having improved efficiency of power generation by reducing an electric resistance in power generation. <P>SOLUTION: The method is an improved method of manufacturing a solar cell including the steps of forming a photoelectric conversion layer made of either an amorphous silicon or a microcrystalline silicon or both of them on a surface electrode layer of a transparent substrate having the surface electrode layer formed thereon, and forming a backside transparent electrode layer on the photoelectric conversion layer. The improved method is characterized in that the photoelectric conversion layer is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray of output of 0.5-10 J/cm<SP>2</SP>after forming the photoelectric conversion layer but before forming the backside transparent electrode layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
