<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a photographing technology of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A photographing state identification unit 21 identifies a photographing state when photographing an input image from the input image, a composition pattern selection unit 22 selects a composition pattern to be applied to the input image based on the photographing state identified by the photographing state identification unit 21, a composition evaluation unit 23 evaluates a composition of the input image based on the photographing state identified by the photographing state identification unit 21 and the composition pattern selected by the composition pattern selection unit 22, and an evaluation result output unit 24 outputs an evaluation result obtained through evaluation by the composition evaluation unit 23 together with the input image.
