<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which does not cause depletion of developer even in a condition that the developer 32 is depleted because the developer 32 is not supplied to a developing roller 34 even though the developer 32 exists on a conveyance screw 39 provided at a supply part of the developing device 3. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes a buffer part D where the reservoired developer 32 comes into contact with a peripheral surface of the developing roller 34, and the developer 32 coming into contact with the peripheral surface of the developing roller 34 is carried and conveyed as the developing roller 34 rotates. The developing device includes a supply conveyance path 37 provided along the buffer part D, and having a supply screw 39 for stirring and conveying the developer 32 in a direction parallel with a rotary shaft of the developing roller 34 while supplying the developer 32 to the buffer part D. The developing device includes a conveyance path which passes through a developing area A from the buffer part D of the developer 32 to a collection conveyance path 38 and includes, additionally, a conveyance path which does not pass through the developing area A near the end of the buffer part D on a downstream side in a developer conveying direction of the supply conveyance path 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
