SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD IN COMPUTING SYSTEM, AND CONTROL SYSTEM

A proper threshold value is set for components of each device that composes a system. A threshold value for advance performance monitoring of a device targeted for control is set using a control software. When a performance acquisition value exceeds the threshold value, that is detected as a performance failure event. Also, the control software has a correlation analysis rule that indicates a reciprocal cause and effect relationship of performance failure events in the control device. When an event is detected, the control software implements a failure-cause analysis process to identify a device causing the failure and a device that is affected by the failure (an affected device) from a plurality of events that are received.
