<p>The recorder has a control unit for controlling an internal storage unit i.e. hard disk, having serial advanced technology attachment (SATA)format. The control unit is situated on a mother board (16) of the recorder. A female SATAconnector (15) is arranged at the bottom of a housing (14) provided at a front face (18) of the recorder, where the housing has a dimension similar to that of the hard disk. The connector is connected to the control unit via a serial digital data connector (17) internal to the recorder.</p> |
