PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate partial hot replacement work of carbonization chamber bricks while suppressing temperature decrease of existing bricks. SOLUTION: There is provided a repairing method partially hot replacing bricks to repair a coke oven which comprises a structure that each combustion chamber 2 is divided into two chambers, and has separate regenerators 6 each communicating to the each chamber and an inter chamber gas path 5 enabling gas pass between the divided two chambers. The partial replacement of bricks is performed on the state of closing the inter chamber gas path 5 communicating between the two chambers composing the combustion chamber 2 of the side of bricks to be performed the partial replacement and also closing each of gas introducing discharging holes 7 of the regenerator 6 communicating to each divided chamber.
