The device (10) has a medium supply unit (12) for providing/disposal of mediums and movably supported between horizontal and vertical positions. The medium supply unit is movably supported at a frame device (16) by a drive device (14) such that it performs overlaid movement from translation and rotation and partially describes an elliptic trajectory during displacement between the two positions. The drive device has steering wheels (18, 20) linked to the frame device at one end and to the supply unit at another end.
