PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission/reception system capable of surely transmitting/receiving data files by simple operation. SOLUTION: The data transmission/reception system 50 includes: at least two PCs 1, 6 connected to each other via a network 4 and respectively having inherent telephone numbers and IP addresses; an IP telephone server 9 for storing each telephone number correspondingly to the IP address by using an SIP protocol; and a data storage server 8 which acquires a telephone number corresponding to an IP address of an accessed PC from the IP telephone server 9 and correspondingly stores the acquired telephone number, an opposite party's telephone number transmitted from the PC 1 and data to be transmitted.
