Disclosed is a server device which sends and receives data with a client device by way of a wireless communication network having an access point, and which is provided with: a wireless connection determination means for determining whether or not a client device on the wireless communication network is connected by wireless communication; a security determination means for determining whether or not the client device is connected to the access point in a secure manner; and a permission means for granting permission for the client device to automatically connect to the server device if the wireless connection determination means determines that the client device is connected by wireless communication and if the security determination means determines that the client device is connected to the access point in a secure manner.
