PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus, capable of removing a soil from a grip of a feeding connector. SOLUTION: The charging apparatus includes a power feeder which is connected to a power-receiving connector disposed on a vehicle to be used for charging a storage battery of the vehicle and has a grip, a housing the power feeder, and a cleaning device which cleans the grip of the power feeder housed in the housing means.
