PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark plug for an internal combustion engine which is effective for prevention of lateral spark, generates normal spark discharge and has superior ignitability of an fuel-air mixture. SOLUTION: The spark plug 10 for the internal combustion engine is equipped with a body fittings 13 in which a screw part 13b of a nominal M12 is formed on an outside face. The body fittings 13 has an annular beveling part 13c of C0.1 from a tip side end face 13d to a tip side inside face 13e. Furthermore, in the spark plug for the internal combustion engine in the example 1, a protrusion size F of a weld sag part 14b in the diameter direction is made 0.1 mm or less.
