ECHO CANCELLATION APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo cancellation apparatus sufficiently canceling an echo component even if an unexpected change or the like occurs in echo delay time. SOLUTION: The echo cancellation apparatus has: an echo canceler body for generating a pseudo echo signal based on a far-end signal and canceling an echo component included in a near-end signal; a frequency component evaluating means for analyzing frequency characteristics of the far-end signal and calculating an evaluation value of a signal component for a noise component for each frequency component; and a near-end frequency characteristic operating means for operating a frequency component for which presence of an echo component remaining after cancellation can be estimated, in an output signal from the echo canceler body in accordance with the evaluation value calculated for each frequency component of the far-end signal.
