PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reduction type drying device for a powdery granular material capable of improving the heat/drying efficiency of the powdery granular material even though simple in structure. SOLUTION: The pressure reduction type drying device 1 for the powdery granular material is equipped with a hopper 20 for storing the powdery granular material and a pressure reduction means 3 for pressure-reducing the inside of the hopper. The pressure reduction type drying device includes hopper outer peripheral temperature retention sections 40, 26 provided at the outer periphery of the hopper, a heated gas supply section 4 for supplying heated gas in the hopper, and a control section 80 which controls the heated gas supply section and supplies the heated gas so as to reach a predetermined temperature.
