Apparatus for use with an equine animal having a stomach, including an equine nasogastric tube (10) comprising an image capturing device (12) at a distal end thereof, wherein an inner lumen (15) of the tube (10) is sized to allow evacuation of fluids, gas and ingesta from the stomach, as well as introduction of fluids and medicines into the stomach.
