PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid bleacher composition that has an excellent storage stability for hydrogen peroxide and exhibits a high bleaching effect after storage. SOLUTION: The liquid bleacher composition includes (a) hydrogen peroxide, (b) a nonionic surfactant of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether type having an HLB of 10.5-17.5 as determined by the Griffin's method, (c) a specific polymer compound, and (d) a metal ion sequestering agent, and has a pH of 1.5-4 at 20°C.
