<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lamp that has high versatility and is made compact as a whole, even if adopting a light diffusion body, and contributes to development of a variety of products. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lamp includes a chip substrate 6 having an LED element, a control circuit 3 that handles lighting control of the LED element of the chip substrate 6, an outer shell case 4 that surrounds the control circuit 3 with a shape of bottomed sleeve and carries the chip substrate at the bottom and serves as a heat dissipation member of the chip substrate 6.
