The line unit has an electric cable (10) with a stranded lead, and a terminal element comprising a terminal body (13) that includes two press clamping units (14, 15). A geometry of a final collet (16) is adapted to the terminal body such that one of the press clamping units presses the collet with the terminal body and the other press clamping unit attaches a sealing element i.e. single wire gasket (17A), on a cable insulation (11). The lead is permanently and electrically interconnected with the terminal body. The lead is made from aluminium, and the terminal body is made of copper alloy.
