PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently demonstrate a cutting function by a rotary blade and to improve beard cutting efficiency and sharpness further by forcibly vibrating the rotary blade at high speed in the axial direction as well simultaneously while rotating the rotary blade around a predetermined axis in a rotary electric razor. SOLUTION: In the electric razor having the rotary blade to be rotationally driven around the predetermined axis, on at least one side face 34a of an cutter (rotary blade) 11, a piezoelectric element 50, to which a driving voltage is applied to vibrate the cutter 11 in the axial direction when the cutter 11 is rotationally driven, is disposed.
