PURPOSE: A swimming method is provided to improve the speed of swimming by adding high thrust to the stroke of arms. CONSTITUTION: A swimming method is constituted as follows. More than two times wrist strokes are performed in one stroke of arms. In the wrist stroke, the spread palm of the hand becomes parallel with the progressive direction in a back stroke. The swimming method obtains high thrust by moving the wrist like arm's stroke. The effective use of the strong wrist contributes to the increase in speed increase of swimming.
