PURPOSE: An illumination control device is provided to reduce energy by using a resistive uncooled microbolometer. CONSTITUTION: An illumination control device comprises a sensor(11), a first controller(13), and a second controller(15). The sensor senses heat emitted from a human body within a predetermined region. The sensor is a resistive uncooled thermal IR detection sensor. The first controller turns on and off a lighting part(20) according to the detection result of the sensor. The second controller controls illumination according to the distance between the sensor and the predetermined region.
