PURPOSE: An electronic dictionary using position information is provided to enable a user to naturally and repetitively think a searched word in connection with a specific place, a specific object, a specific person, or a related user, thereby increasing the memory efficiency and learning efficiency of the user. CONSTITUTION: An electronic dictionary(100) includes a position information system(110), a dictionary storing unit(120), a word searching unit(130), a search storing unit(140), a word providing unit(150), a controller(160), and a power supply unit(170). The word providing unit provides words, which are stored in the search storing unit, to a user. The controller visually displays the words, which are stored in the search storage unit, to the user by a display unit if current position information of the user is matched with position information corresponding to a word. |
