FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The composition contains oil-in-water emulsion. The emulsion contains oil droplets dispersed in an aqueous phase, each having a layered liquid-crystal coating and contains at least one active substance for agricultural purposes. The coating is a monomeric or oligomeric layer containing: (1) at least one liophilic nonionic surfactant, (2) at least one hydrophilic nonionic surfactant and (3) at least one ionic surfactant, where the average diameter of the oil droplets is less than 800 nm.
