PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine excellently increasing the degree of attention to a game. SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine includes a symbol display device 41 provided with a display screen. The symbol display device 41 includes a liquid crystal panel and a back light board installed on the back surface of the liquid crystal panel. In this case, between the liquid crystal panel and the back light board, a light control panel sectioned into a plurality of dot areas and changing the quantity of light transmitted through the display screen for each dot area is provided, and also a driver circuit for controlling the drive of the light control panel is provided. Thus, by controlling the light control panel, the light performance for player's visual confirmation of the light brighter than the other parts at a part of the display screen for instance is executed.
