ANTIBIOTICS-PRODUCING A NOVEL STRAIN OF STREPTOMYCES SP. BCNU 1001 AND COMPOSITION USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel Streptomyces sp. BCNU 1001 strain isolated from soil and an antibacterial composition using the same are provided to be used as a skin therapeutic agent. CONSTITUTION: A Streptomyces sp. BCNU 1001(deposit number: KCTC 18186P) has an antibacterial activity. An antibacterial composition contains the Streptomyces sp. BCNU 1001 strain, suspension or culture liquid of the strain, or supernatant of the culture liquid. The composition has an antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, Filobasidium neoformans, or Trichophyton rubrum.
